Science-promoting activities

Expert of the Ministry of Health to develop a program for lung cancer screening with the use of low dose computed tomography.
Multiple appearances in the media and press interviews ((PAP, Medycyna Praktyczna, Rynek Zdrowia, Gazeta Wyborcza) to bring closer to the society the epidemiological problems of lung cancer and taking up the screening procedures as the sole, documented method leading to reduced mortality rate for this condition.

Editor-in-chief of the portal Lung Cancer Alliance Polska (www.rakpluca.edu.pl) a Polish mirror of the largest patient organization dealing with lung cancer in the USA. Presented in a colloquial name, the portal contains information for the patients concerning lung cancer diagnostics, the treatment opportunities and methods and the screening tests. Thanks to the agreement with Lung Cancer Alliance all materials published on the American website are available for translation and adaptation to the Polish version.
